About Turtle Creek Antiques, Inc.
Our Service Pledge
All items are guaranteed as to authenticity. I respond to orders promptly and ship promptly as well. I reserve the right to hold items paid for by personal check until the check clears, if the buyer is unknown to me. I prefer to insure everything. I pack carefully!
I opened my first antiques shop in 1974 in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, and have been in the antiques business ever since. I closed my second brick and mortar antiques shop on Lincoln Avenue in Chicago almost five years ago. I am currently managing a beautiful shop in Winnetka, IL, Marigolds, which opened four years ago. The owner, Deborah Burfisher, has an antiques background involving collecting, dealing, and decorating. She loves Chinese antiques as well as Americana. Marigolds is a potpourri. This shop, open Monday through Saturday, 11-5, has recently moved to a beautiful new location, 916 Green Bay Road, in Hubbard Woods (downtown Winnetka). Working there makes me happy because the shop is chock-full of beautiful things, both new and vintage. This is as close to retirement as I will ever be! I also have a large show-case at the Gurnee Antiques Center in Gurnee, Il. where I have a cross-section of my current inventory for sale. The case is #TCA. I also do area antiques shows. See my website for my current show schedule. I now operate my Ruby Lane shop from my home, a Chicago bungalow, in the historic Portage Park neighborhood. I plan to continue offering the same fine quality antiques, jewelry, linens, and quilts on line that Turtle Creek Antiques has always been known for.
