My goal for this store is to offer you a little slice of Heaven. I carefully select the items that I sell, and research them thoroughly to make sure that the item descriptions and pricing are accurate.

This store is in honor my Dad, a treasure hunter, and WWII Navy Veteran. My goal is to operate this store in a manner that would make him proud. Customer satisfaction is key! I want you to enjoy your shopping and buying experience to the point that you will become a loyal customer. I will happily respond to any questions and correct any issues that may arise during any transaction.

I am a PhD Biochemist and a full blown vintage jewelry junkie. I research and sell vintage jewelry, mostly sterling, and I am frequently drawn to Mexican and Mid Century Modernist artisan's work. I love to find beautiful, and often, whimsical items that you wouldn't find anywhere else...items that make you say "Oh my! That's Perfect for Aunt Gertrude!"

I started this shop in honor of my father, an avid collector and treasure hunter, who passed away in October 2007 just 2 weeks before his 80th birthday. On his birthday, I had no idea what to do, but found myself drawn into a treasure hunt. I ended up spending many hours in a single antique store. I discovered and purchased many unique treasures that day. I can't help but believe that my adventure that day had my Dad smiling down from Heaven. Eventually, I had collected so many items that I decided to open a store to share the treasures with others.

My shop is a bit eclectic, but I tend to list items that reflect the things that my Dad loved. Nature, animals (especially cats and birds), his Country and the Navy are among his favorites.

My Dad had a great sense of humor, and I loved to make him laugh. At times, my item descriptions are humorous, strange, and/or border on the bizarre. I also tell stories in some of the descriptions as well. Many customers have told me they frequent my shop because of the quality of the items and the entertainment they get from just reading the descriptions. Oh, and they occasionally buy stuff too.
