This large bowl would be perfect for fruit or vegetables. The bowl measures 11" in diameter and 4 1/2" deep. The blue is a deep cobalt blue. There are stripes around the inside and the outside of the bowl. Then there is a vertical stripe design. This all runs together to appear very modern. Yet this bowl has all the signs of age. This lovely flow blue bowl has curves to beat the band. The finial is a double loop with crown. The handles curve upwards. The blue is a bright cobalt flow blue. This lovely flow blue platter measures 10 1/2" x 14 1/4". It has a border pattern of swags and medallions. The bottom is marked with a crown and NAPIER. Napier is the pattern name. I believe the maker is Keeling & Co. ca. 1886-1936. This platter is in excellent condition. There is one glaze bubble pop. There is utensil wear.

This lovely pitcher measures 7" tall. It is not marked but is identified as REEDS & FLOWERS on page 5 of Jeffrey's Snyder's "Fascinating Flow Blue". The pitcher has gilding around the top edge and highlighting the reeds and flowers. The handle is what is called a fish-scale design. There are no marks. No chips. There is a couple of hairlines in the body on one side. These are so tight they cannot be felt.

This flow blue porcelain platter measures 11" x 15". The pattern is ALBANY by Johnson Bros. ca 1900. There are molded handles on the end with bow ribbon design. The deeply scalloped edge has floral, shell, and bead embossing around the edge. There are six large pointed cartouche forms connected around the border by stylized fleur-de-lis. The center is a six-pointed snow flake. The platter is in excellent condition.

This platter measures 11 1/2" x 14 1/8". It is oval in shape. The blue is a dark gray blue. The bottom of the platter is marked with a circa 1900 mark of the Pountney & Co. pottery in Bristol England. The pattern is ASHTON. The platter has crazing, but no chips or cracks. Quite beautiful.

This lovely platter has a deep well. It measures 11 1/2" x 16". The rim is scalloped with molded scrolled handles on each end. The edge is outlined with beading. There are panels of trellis that alternate with larger panels containing a carnation and bud design. The bottom is marked W. H. Grindley MELBOURNE. This pattern was made circa 1900. Good condition except for a rather large chip on the bottom edge. Very light utensil wear.

This large platter measures 12 1/2" x 16". It has only a border design of floral garlands. The bottom is marked Losol Ware Kensington Keeling & Co.Ltd. Burslem England Made in England. This mark was made 1912-36. This platter is in excellent condition. There is something black stuck on the bottom.

This oval flow blue platter measures 9 1/2" x 12 1/2". It has a blue rim and blue flowers into the well of the platter. The blue is a gray blue. I have not been able to identify the pattern. There is an impressed number 10 over IN. This platter has a small chip on the underside. There is lots of utensil wear and a single glaze pop. Still an unusual and lovely platter.

The mark gives the maker Johnson Bros. circa 1900 and the pattern SAVOY. This platter is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs.

This platter measures 14 1/2" x 10 1/2". It has an unevenly scalloped edge that is gilded. The border design is of a swirling, curved line. The upper rim is covered with small flowers and art designs that fill the scrolls. The lower rim is left open except for the swirls. The bottom is marked. The pattern is DELAMERE and the maker is Henry Alcock circa 1900. This platter is in very good condition. Some wear to the gilding and light crazing.

The border is printed with blue ivy type leaves. Many items in this pattern are gilded. This is not. The platter measures 9 1/2" x 12 1/2". The printing is quite blurry. Desirable in flow blue china. Excellent condition.

This flow blue sauce tureen measures 8 1/2" x 5 1/4" x 5". The bowl is marked RALEIGH Alfred Meakin Ltd. England Royal Semi-Porcelain. This mark was used circa 1891. The pattern has a scalloped border with a ring of tiny flowers. The blue is a bright cobalt blue. There are 3 hairlines around the top of the bowl, each measuring less than 1/2". Barely noticeable. With the lid, they cannot be seen at all. There is light crazing inside the bowl, typical of hot sauces. Lovely piece.

The inside of the bowl has a wonderful rose as well. This tureen has an overall measurement of 7" wide (including handles) and 6 1/4" tall including lid. This flow blue plate measures 7" in diameter. The bottom is marked Staffordshire England. It was made by Charles Allerton. The pattern is named wagon wheel for obvious reasons. It has dark cobalt blue spokes radiating from the center. Within the spokes is copper lustre waves. Between the spokes is a Chinese red sprig design. The edge is worn copper lustre. There are no chips or cracks. There are stray bits of blue on the white background. I have a matching child's tea set listed separately.

One is marked with the blue mark, 1880-1914. The other is marked with a green mark used 1914-25. The pattern is the same. Both are in very good condition. The blue mark plates has a bit of crazing. Each of this set of flow blue dessert plates measure 7 1/2" in diameter. The blue is a deep cobalt blue. The scalloped edge is gilded and sponged around the rim. This is a rare pattern. The bottom is marked GTM Stoke ORCHID Rd. No. 970654. This is the George Thomas Mountford Staffordshire pottery 1888-98. There are the beautiful orchids as well as birds and butterflies. 2 of the plates have a tiny edge chip. All 4 are crazed. The gilding is worn on all four. The price is for the set.

Each of these soup plates measures 10 1/4" in diameter. The rim has an Art Nouveau stylized flower design. The bottoms are marked with the pattern and the maker. The pattern is Kent. The maker's mark is Wood & Sons Ltd. England Royal Semi Porcelain. This mark was used circa 1910. All five soups are in very good condition without chips or cracks. No significant crazing.
