About Us
The thrill of the hunt for LOVELY and/or interesting Antiques and Collectibles led me to this business. My specialties are Bluebird china, Flow Blue china, Staffordshire Figures, Transferware, Majolica, British tins, Antique Bird & Botanical prints, and Victorian Shell boxes. I never know what will catch my attention at auctions and estate sales.

Careers of being a homemaker and mother of three boys, a teacher (physical science and math), and a software engineer preceded my launching a "retirement" venture. The interest in antiques and the computer background are a natural for selling antiques and collectibles on-line. The intrigue for me is the discovery and the research. I buy what I like. I am not an expert on every item I buy, but I do research and learn all I can. My book shelves are full of reference books, and I ask lots of questions from those with more experience and knowledge.

Picked up my beautiful plates this afternoon - they are just lovely! Thank you so much for packing them so well too! When I got the box, it was really crushed on one side. You had that large "fragile" sticker on the top as well - couldn't believe how they didn't take care of the box. Hi Judy--Just wanted to let you know that the Staffordshire
figurine arrived today in excellent shape. I worry about objects
with legs, arms, heads, and tails when they have to travel, but
you did a fantastic job with your careful packing. It's a
wonderful piece & I'm very happy with it!

Your wonderfully-wrapped package arrived yesterday, and I can't tell you how happy I am with this beautiful majolica planter! I have been looking at it for a year, it seems, and couldn't figure out how to reconcile it's poor condition with my fledgling - but really nice - collection . . . until I realized I could use it to hold the wooden spoons and other large cooking utensils on my granite countertop. I'd been afraid to subject a perfect piece to such daily abuse, but this planter is PERFECT. I know you'll appreciate knowing it's found a good and "loving home" with me, based on your description online.

FYI- got them today in perfect condition, more beautiful than I ever thought, and fit my spot perfectly. Thank you for packing so well- I love them! I have told everyone at work about Rubylane.com

Got the platters....totally love them!!!!! They are larger than I imagined and in perfect condition...can't wait to fill them with cookies or cheese/veggies for company. The neighbor lady was over visiting my mom and everyone loved them. I always show ma my plates and she just thinks they are beautiful. My girlfriend wants to see them too, and my little sister wants them if I kick the bucket. She is my POA health so said she is pulling the plug first chance she gets! I can truly say that the day I can start putting them out in my new kitchen will be one of the most exciting/satisfying days in a loooooooooong time. Thanks, Anita
