Welcome to The Optimists, I specialize in Antique Cloth Dolls and Soft Toys. I have been a collector for over 30 years and in 2003 my book was published by Hobby House Press titled 'Norah Wellings Cloth Dolls and Soft Toys'.

I will be adding other Antique,Collectible and Vintage items to my shop and I hope that you will enjoy seeing what I have to offer. New items will be added as often as possible so please keep coming back to have a look.

Based in the U.K I can assure you if you are an International Customer I am experienced in posting overseas. Payment is due once I have sent an invoice unless prior arrangements have been made. I will combine postage to save you money. Payment is by Paypal Only for International Transactions unless other forms of payment are agreed before purchase. If you are in the United Kingdom I accept Paypal,Personal Cheque, Cash in Registered Letter or please ask if you wish to use alternative methods before purchasing. Items will be re listed after 3 days if payment has not been received.

I do list items on ebay as well as Rubylane and items may be listed on both sites. I am afraid if you buy on Rubylane and payment is not immediate and I have the item also listed on ebay and an ebay customer buys I will sell to the customer on ebay. Hopefully this will never happen but I must cover myself just in case.
