About Us

That Was Then, Inc. has been in the antiques and collectibles business for two decades. Before opening our Deerfield Beach shop we were antique show dealers for many years. Prior to that we did extensive mail order through the Antique Trader publication. We have been doing Internet business since the beginning of e-commerce in 1996. Our inventory is extensive and what you see on this site is only a small fraction of what you might have seen in our brick and mortar store.

Due to an unreasonably high rent increase at the end of our long-term lease, we closed the brick and mortar store. The inventory now resides in a climate controlled storage facility.

We can easily retrieve each and every item due to our very systematic pack-out! It might take an extra day to retrieve your item, but shipping still will take place within 48 hours of receipt of payment.

We always maintain a selection of Georg Jensen sterling, enamels on sterling, vanity items, fine figural porcelains, and glass. Only about 20% of our inventory is currently listed here. Thus, if you are looking for a particular item, please feel free to email and we can tell you if that is something we have available or can obtain for you.
