The Vesterheim Norwegian American Museum is filled with information about Norwegian artifacts and is an excellent place to obtain information about your antique. The museum has been very helpful to us in obtaining information and expanding our knowledge of the items that we collect and that we sell.
The woodworking shop at Sweetpea Cottage has been making artisan wood items for sale on Ruby Lane since 2004. Prior to that the shop specialized in fine furniture reproductions. This website provides information about the woodshop and the wide variety of products that are made in the shop. There is also incidental information about the different types of objects, their history, and their uses. It is good background behind the items that are sold in the Artisan Lane on Ruby Lane.
Sweetpea Cottage has been making and selling fine one-of-a-kind jewelry since the early 1990's. Over time it has expanded to become a hot glass shop and studio for making jewelry and components. This site is the hot glass shop that makes much of the jewelry that we sell on Ruby Lane at Sweetpea Cottage. The site contains information about lampworking and fused glass products. There are examples of the wide variety of glass jewelry and components that are made along with information about the studio.
