Thank you for visiting Steiffgal's Vintage Museum Marketplace. This webstore is dedicated to bringing you only the finest rare and collectible Steiff treasures. I wouldn't sell anything that I wouldn't welcome in my own Steiff collection, which numbers north of 600 vintage items!

I truly lead the "Steiff Life", and bring that passion and expertise to this online store. I am a third generation lifelong Steiff collector. My German grandmother kindled my love for the brand over four decades ago, and I am the proud steward of many of her childhood Steiff treasures. My passion became my vocation for several years when I had the pleasure of working full time for the US division of Margarete Steiff GmbH as the Marketing Manager. Today, I am one of Steiff's official spokespeople, attending events and programs on behalf of the company, where I identify and value items for collectors across the nation.

Although Steiff bears, animals, and dolls have been around since the 1880's, their collectibility, appeal, and stories are as new as tomorrow. In order to share this excitement, I blog regularly about Steiff (see the link for "My Steifflife" under favorite links) and am a regular contributor to several international publications where I write about the history and legacy of vintage Steiff items. I am also the administrator on the Steiff Facebook fan page, the National Steiff Examiner on Examiner, the Steiff blogger on Collector's Weekly, the Steiff Worthologist on WorthPoint, and the Steiff expert at Auctionata.
