My Mission
I believe beauty comes from a special light within each of us and we can discover our own light by surrounding ourselves with beautiful things we love. Jewelry adorns us and shows something unique about who we are. I create jewelry to reflect the timeless beauty in all women.

My Inspiration
I get my inspiration from beauty in form, colors, patterns and textures all around me. The interaction of these elements is exciting to me, as each element tells it's own story. For me, creating jewelry is the art of telling a story about this interaction.
I love to bring elements from many cultures that lend themselves to new conversations. I am inspired by classical design and ancient jewelry from all cultures.

Because I grew up in New Mexico and Arizona, I am influenced by the desert colors; the tones of the earth, the blue sky with billowing white clouds, the purple mountains, the shades of the cactus and the bright flowers. This is reflected in the materials I love to use: leather, vintage beads, Turquoise and Pearls, Coral, Lapis, Opal, Peridot, Chalcedony, Labradorite and Larimar.

All my jewelry is created in my home studio with the utmost attention to detail and craftsmanship, using only quality components and artisan findings.
I use Gold Vermeil (Sterling Silver with 22k gold overlay)
Gold Filled (a thick coating of gold over other metal)
Sterling Silver (.925 or greater pure silver)
Thai Silver (97 to 99 % pure silver)
Lead free Pewter, quality brass

All items are described to the best of my ability. Since some items I use are vintage, cracks and chips are inherent to the material, and chosen by me for added charm.

Bio
I am fortunate to have come from a very creative family where I grew up among artists, photographers and craftsmen. I do not remember a time that I was not making or designing something.
Everything I know I learned from all my parents, who are well known in their fields of art, photography and jewelry design. This is where I get my passion for photographing the pieces I make.
This tradition has carried over to my children who also are very creative in the fields of art, design, dance, music and photography.
