.....I LOVE......jewelry (who doesn't!) I have been collecting jewelry for years. I work part-time at a family-owned jewelry shop that has been around for over 50 years. There are everything there from platinum, gold, silver....etc. And of course, there are diamonds, precious gem stones, beads, CZ.....etc. So, that is where I would get my jewelry look at for a second opinion in case of any doubt. And yes, to fix, clean, size, or test its authenticity. I also have a gem stone tester as well as a gold and platinum tester.
.....I used to sell at a swap meet once a month for a few years and I am now doing it again. I travel about twice a year here in the East Coast, West Coast and Europe. Everywhere I go, I would check out the antique shops, jewelry shops, flea markets, antique shows.......etc. So......that's how I collect things. What can I say, I'm a girl, I love sparkly shiny things.
