About Us
In a retro daze? We are your online source for vintage glassware, kitchenware and pottery.

Thank you for dropping by for a visit! Shop Retro Daze is the online affiliate of our brick-and-mortar business, Retro Daze Antiques and Collectibles. We are a small mother and son owned business based in Westminster, Maryland. First and foremost we are collectors. As with most antique dealers, collecting became more than just a hobby. Our passion for 40s-50s-60s glassware, pottery and vintage kitchenware led to the creation of our business in December 2003. We opened our first booth in the Westminster Antique Mall in Westminster, Maryland. Our beginnings were admittedly modest but sales were so good that less than one year later we expanded our business to become multi-state. In October 2004 we opened a larger booth at Yesteryear Antique Center in Hanover, Pennsylvania. When you're passing through central Maryland and southern Pennsylvania be sure to stop by and visit us. Westminster Antique Mall: Join us on Saturday May 19, 2012 and Sunday May 20, 2012 for a mall-wide sale. Every item in our booth will be on sale (with the exception of those items marked "Sale" or "Firm").

Yesteryear Antique Center of Hanover: Celebrate Yesteryear's "Summer Extravaganza" on Saturday June 16, 2012 and Sunday June 17, 2012. We'll be running a sale on our booth and there will be discounts throughout the mall. Plus an extra discount will be taken at the register.

About The Items We Sell
We sell vintage items and as such the majority of pieces are used. We exhaustively search to find quality pieces that are not chipped, cracked or damaged. And if they are used, it's ideal to find pieces that are only gently used. Many of the pieces we sell, especially kitchen glassware, were made with little quality control, designed to be utilitarian, and used regularly. While we avoid pieces with major damage, some pieces will have regular wear and tear -- utensil marks, straw/swirl marks and roughness (flea bites) around an edge or rim. These "manufacturing flaws" are to be expected and, in most cases, bring another layer of added charm to a vintage piece. Our inventory is stored in a climate-controlled, smoke free and pet free environment. All of our items are cleaned before listing...we appreciate receiving clean items and we know you do too!
