Golden Hour is a beautiful old original oil painting on canvas. This is a landscape in warm colors. Trees surround a stream with a figure who is fly fishing. This is titled, signed and dated 1918 on the back. The artist is Robert Babcock. I have not been able to locate any further information other than he is American.

A paper label is attached to the top stretcher strip. The label is from F. Weber & Co, Philadelphia, PA. It advertises artist supplies.

The art is 20 x 22 inches. The wood frame has a dark brown finish and a gold tone liner. It is 22 1/2 x 26 1/2 inches. The art is in very good condition for a painting of this age. The frame does have handling wear otherwise it is in good condition.
