About Us
San Marcos Art Glass is an online business that opened in San Marcos, Texas, in 2004. The store moved to Birmingham, AL, in early 2010. Our glass is selected for technique and color. It includes selections by European and American artisans, with a special emphasis on Murano art glass. We offer quality glass and other collectibles at reasonable prices. The shop is owned and operated by Anita Caudle, a Murano glass enthusiast. Anita is a wildlife biologist, so has a particular love for the glass animals. Many people visit her online Murano Zoo every week. New glass is added every week, so we hope you will check back often to find the perfect piece.

We consider all reasonable offers. Most of our items are already priced at the lowest price possible, but some pieces do have a bit of wiggle room. You are welcome to make an offer.


Customer Service is Top Priority

Your satisfaction is important! If you are not satisfied, you can return purchases for a refund. Merchandise must be returned in its original condition within 14 days of receipt. We describe things accurately and package carefully to take the risk out of buying online. We research our items to make sure the attributions are correct. All items are guaranteed, including attributions, so buy without worry. We handle any insurance claims that may arise. (That has only been twice in nine years of doing business online.)



Payment

There are several ways to pay. 1) PayPal. 2) ProPay (purchases up to $500) 3) Amazon Payments. 4) Personal checks drawn on US bank. 5) Money orders or cashier checks in US Dollars. If you want to pay with ProPay, I will mail you an invoice that will let you make a secure payment using your card. You don't have to give me your credit card information. If you pay with a personal check, it must clear the bank before your package will be sent. Payment is expected within three days of placing an order if PayPal, Amazon, or ProPay is used. If payment is being mailed, please notify me within a day of placing the order to let me know when you will mail payment. If we do not hear from you in three days, the purchase order will be canceled and the items will be returned to the inventory.



Alabama Residents

Alabama state residents pay 9% sales tax (AL Sales Tax Permit SLS-R006260654).State law requires that tax be collected on both the purchase and shipping costs. We wish it weren't so, but it's the law :)
