There is so much joy in offering others the thrill of discovering their perfect memory! That's why I carry a variety of vintage treasures! The name of this shop came about for several reasons with meaning and symbolism on several levels: My grandmother's name being Ruth was a direct influence as well as this business creating redemptive value not just for the items but for the owner as well. Symbolizing the idea of giving something "old" but still with value, an antique or even a collectible, the ability to create new memories as someone else's treasure-- in essence "redeeming" the item. The store name also works symbolically of the biblical story of Ruth and Boaz--as Boaz became Ruth's redeemer through her gleaning.
