40's Vintage Rare Postage Stamp Quilt VERY COLORFUL

This lovely 76 inch by 90 inch quilt is a one needle quilt. The hand pieced top is covered with thousands of one inch squares. The quilt is double quilted in contrasting white thread. The batting appears to be a very thin layer of cotton. Some of the fabrics in the top are 1930's material and even some feed sacks. The corners are mitered and finished in an one inch red sawtooth. There are thirty 15 inch by 15 inch diamonds and half-diamonds all around the boarder. I believe that this is a variations of the "Double Nine Patch" ( if you know different please let me know.) There are no stains, no marks, nor any other damages. In the center of the red backing there is a six inch insert of a slightly different red only noticeable in bright light. This quilt has never been washed or used in any way. It looks as good as new. It is unbelievable the hours that this Postage Stamp quilt must have taken to make. It is in absolute perfect shape and what wonderful and bright colors. Red banding everything. What a work of art. It would be perfect hung on a high wall. I would let you buy it and return it without a restocking fee so that you can see how great this is. It is truly one of a kind!! My pictures do not do it justice. History in a quilt. What brave Kansas woman created this masterpiece?
