About Us
For over 30 years I have been involved in different aspects of the art and antiques business in southern California. I was director of two different art galleries (Promenade Gallery and the Art Gallery at the Loews Hotel in Santa Monica), part owner of two antique malls, and I am a fine arts auctioneer and appraiser. I consider myself a generalist and appreciate anything of quality. My motto is "Return the purchase for any or no reason ; I want you to be happy with your purchase". About 30 years ago I had a small auction house for art on the old Santa Monica Promenade. One day a gentleman drove up with a truck filled with antiques and collectibles and asked me to sell them for him on consignment in between the auctions;which I did. It has led to a life long romance with antiques that has enabled me to meet some wonderful people and learn about the world of antiques and collectibles. I am a one man operation and so can assure you that all packing and shipping will be looked after by myself. I do not charge for handling; only the materials and the postage.
