About Us
Since 1985 we have run our antiques business from our home in the historic county of Essex. We specialise in the smaller items - mostly antique collectibles such as match vestas, stamp boxes, Mauchline souvenir ware, Victorian lady's skirt lifters & etc. In particular antique sewing items are popular with our customers. Additionally a variety of other items are stocked by us - provided they are old small and interesting.
After twenty five years buying and selling on Portobello Road, health problems have compelled us to close our physical shop there. However we remain active on Ruby Lane and continue to service our many other direct and on-line customers. On our Ruby Lane site the ticket price is the all-in price. There are no extra add-ons to pay. All shipping and insurance costs are taken care of by us - to everywhere in the world ! Local taxes and duties, however remain your responsibility.
Lots of enthusiasts have enjoyed dealing with us. Most still do. Give us a try and maybe join them.
