About Us
Patricia Funt has been selling antiques for over 30 years. For over ten years she had Patricia Funt Gallery at 50 1/2 East 78th Street, off Madison Avenue in New York City.
A fun and eclectic mix of antique objects, the shop was a favorite haunt for a number of celebrities, socialites and decorators.
After marrying an Englishman in the early 1990's, they moved, started a family and opened a new shop - Patricia Funt Antiques, on Main Street in New Canaan, Connecticut.
In August of 2010, Patricia closed her store after 18 years on Main Street. Now, she and her Husband are selling by appointment, at antique shows and of course, on Ruby Lane with fun and interesting antiques. There is always large collection of nautical & military antiques, sporting collectibles, items for the table, including a large selection of napkin rings.Wood carvings are also a favorite. There are always lots of Black Forest carvings and all sorts of objects in the form of dogs and other animals.
Patricia Funt Antiques is known for unusual objects for the collector, including corkscrews, snuff boxes, matchsafes and a range of Jewelry from Georgian thru the 1950's.There are royal commemoratives, children's pottery, miniature furniture and much, much more.
Her husband, Ken Oxman, is a writer/broadcaster who works with Patricia in the business and admits that it was Patricia's inspiration that got him interested in antiques. They are enjoying their twentieth year in business together.
