Vintage Renold Cycle Chain Tin

This early tin once held an old Renold Cycle Chain made by the Renold & Coventry chain Co., Ltd. of Manchester, England. In the center of the slip on lid is the sleek image of a dog with the slogan; For Easy Running. I believe the chain was probably for a bicycle although there is mention of a motorcycle on the back. The front edge specifies 114 Links. I believe this is from the 1930's.

It measures about 6 5/8" by 3 ½" by ½" and is in fair shape having seen better days. There are a few dents, scratches, light rust and staining on the lid and back with additional discoloration on the back.
