I am Donna Houck, the owner of Napa Valley Jewels. NVJ is located in the famous Napa Valley, CA. I began my beading journey shortly after retiring from Secretarial and Bookkeeping work in 2002. All my work is designed and created out of my home office - (someday, I'll post a photo of my work area - today you wouldn't want to view it)

I love to design and create custom jewelry for weddings, mothers day,and any special occasion - I am happy to accommodate you with almost any design you might be interested in - just ask - and I'll let you know if it's possible - I like to include my customers in helping them design their own jewelry even if it's only picking our their choice of colors. I reserve the right to limit this to certain designs. In my work I honor other designers copyrights.

I am a self-taught designer; my education came from many books, videos, a couple classes, and of course - by trial and error. My philosophy is: If I won't wear it, then don't make it.
