About Us
Our Family Shop on Ruby Lane was started with antique dolls lovingly collected by our 'Mimi' and Dad during the 1950's and 60's. She purchased hundreds of dolls during this period of time. She kept this collection together until 1993, when it was passed to me and my husband. The nudies, bathing beauties and naughties and Bye-Lo's were collected by Dad and at his death at the age of 94yrs, in 2004, they came to us. The authenticity of this collection can be verified by the documentation that she made when she purchased these beautiful dolls, no reproductions.

The books in Shop were collected by my husband during the 70's and 80's. He
collected many, many children's, history, children's series books and probably a book for every interest.

I have been collecting for more than 30 years. My daughter, Lisha Harris Grant, helped me start Mimi's Dolls and Other Fine Things, on Ruby Lane. We began as a Flagstone Shop when Ruby Plaza was started. Visit Mimi's Plaza Jewelry in Ruby Plaza.

Since opening our Ruby Lane shop in 2008 we have sent dolls to Austria, Australia, Cyprus, Germany, England, Japan, Greece, Italy, Russia, the Netherlands, Canada, Switzerland, New Zealand, France, and Vietnam, as well as all over the USA.
