This lovely little compact looks like it may have spent some time traveling in someone's purse, yet very little of the powder is used. The shiny gold oval case is in good condition, yet shows a couple of marks and scratches on close inspection. The most visible mark is to the immediate left of the twisted rope design on the lid. There are a series of tiny linear scratches which almost resemble the imprint of a spring coil in this 1/4 inch area. The rest of the lid is in excellent condition ...
