Part of the joy of collecting and selling is being able to share "finds" with others. Most weekends find me at auctions in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin trying to win the bid on something I love or that I know you will love too. My shop represents the best of those finds. I offer a grand selection of vintage hats which truly qualifies me as a "mad hatter." Vintage and antique fashions and accessories from the 1880's to the 1980's grace my shop with stylish and fun selections. And, unusual items in the vintage "must have it" category assures that someone who "needs this" will find it. If you enjoy my "finds" as much as I do, we will be the perfect vintage match. My grandmother Grace and her eight sisters provided an early inspiration for saving all things vintage.Toiling at never-easy "cleaning lady" jobs, Grace saved many an item from the city dump. Her sister Maude was a professional seamstress who ignited in me an appreciation for fashions and fabrics. Aunt Ruth showed that a practical side could have good humor, too.
