About Many Little Things, Antique Boutique
Our Service Pledge To You:
I guarantee that I will never charge a handling fee in shipping costs. I will only charge what it actually costs. I sometimes do estimate a shipping amount. If I have estimated too high by over a $, and you have already paid, I will refund the difference, rounded off to the nearest $ without going under the cost.. If I have estimated too low, and you have already paid, I will simply eat the difference.
About Us
MANY LITTLE THINGS ANTIQUES BOUTIQUE is one of Ruby Lane's earlier, long lived shops, with a tremendous variety of glassware; victorian art glass, art deco, CZECH pottery and glass; red wing, art pottery, china; R S German, Prussia, haviland, satsuma, nippon, and a great selection of miscellaneous, including primitives, toys, jewelry, prints and tools. This is our first attempt at an online store, and we are dedicated to quality and great customer service! ............... We have been in business at the same location for over 20 years now and, together with our dealers, have over 70 years of collecting knowledge. Please understand, that all payments must be made within three days of receipt of final invoice. It has been my experience that those paying with checks and or money orders tend to procrastinate much more than those who pay by Pay Pal. You can use your checking account with Pay Pal and I urge you to check this out, as it is extremely safe, and makes everything flow so much smoother. You don't have to make special trips to the Post Office etc. . Otherwise be especially vigilant and prompt in sending out the checks and money orders. I hate having to send out reminder notices, but to tell you the truth, it has gotten so bad, that I have considered not taking checks and money orders, but I feel that I want my items available to everyone. We pledge here and now to offer for sale no reproductions and to describe every item, fully and to the best of our ability. If upon receipt of the item, you find that you are not happy with it, you may return it according to Ruby Lane guidelines. Because of this very broad return policy, we ask that you be very sure that you want the item before you commit to it. Ask questions ahead of time.
If for some reason you feel you must return an item, please make sure that you familiarize yourself with the Rubylane guidelines for returning items. You have a minimum amount of days in which to act and you will be held to those guidelines.
We are one of the best packers in the business, but sometimes, despite our best efforts, breakage during shipping occurs, so we send nothing out uninsured, unless specifically requested by the buyer and is either such a small $ (under $10) valued item or something that is hardly ever damaged by shipping and then the buyer must understand that we will not be responsible for damage during shipping or lost in the mail and must send a written statement to that effect in the mail as unfortunately, emails are not considered as evidence in disputes.
We have recently had a lister's disaster, while returning about 750 items to the shop from the backroom in a power update, somehow the sale price, the lower price got shown as the original price and the original price got shown as the sale price. It is a real mix up. I had not printed out a listing of the 750 items that we power updated so have no idea how to go about fixing this without going through all of the 4,400 items that I have here in the store. Rest assured, we will honor the lower price unless for some reason the change was drastic, which I don't anticipate. Here again, I want to re-enforce our commitment to the best customer service on the net!!!!
