About Us
LouisaMay started as two sisters that wanted to get involved in a project together. Sheila Louise, unfortunately, was so busy and travels so much that she couldn't continue the project. But the other sister - Barbara May - just fell in love with Vintage Jewelry pieces and as I searched out jewelry, I would came across other wonderful DoDads that I just couldn't live without.

Which is how I got started researching and hunting beautiful jewelry. Most of the pieces I deal with are signed but every so ofter an unsigned beauty catches my eye. I only acquire pieces that I absolutely love and want for myself.

I am not an expert or a gemologist but I do describe all items to the best of my ability. My biggest goal though, is to make you happy and want to shop with me again and again whether for yourself or for a gift item - add a dash of pizzazz!!

* Unless other arrangements are made, all Money Order Payments are due within 7 business days. The address to send them will be emailed to you with your order acknowledgment. Once payment is received it will be deposited in my bank on the next business day. Unfortunately, because there have been so many counterfeit money orders issued I will wait 7 to 10 business day, making sure the Money Order clears, prior to shipping your order. To shorten this shipping time go to my site to pay for your order by PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use their services. All shipments are sent either Tuesday or Thursdays depending on when payment clears.

**We have changed our International Shipping Policy to International Registered Mail. We have found that we can ship to a wider range of countries and that all shipments can be insured by this shipping method. Because Registered Mail was not available to me as one of the offered forms for shipping, we are adding this note so I don't have to turn down anymore customers and I can give additional clarification to our international shipping policy.

LAYAWAYS
I'm happy to accept layaways.
I allow a maximum of 3 months with the down payment of 1/3, which is non-refundable, and due within seven (7) days of ordering. Second and third payments can be scheduled on an individual basis but total payment is not to exceed a time period of 90 days.
In the event of a layaway being cancelled by the buyer prior to my receipt of the final payment, I reserves the right to keep 50% of the amount already paid. This also applies if final payment is not made within two weeks of the stipulated due date and item(s) will return to active inventory. Unless otherwise stipulated, layaways are non-returnable.

RETURNS
Refunds cheerfully given for any item that is not correctly described including return postage BUT if you just don't like the item we will refund the purchase price only, not shipping costs. Email us within three days of receipt of your item so that we can authorize the return. We can not accept returns that have not been authorized nor that take place after an unreasonable period of time. All merchandise must be returned in original condition.
