I love it when I find a new treasure in vintage items from the 1930's to the 1980's and I'm still on a treasure hunt. It can be such a joy to find something that brings lots of memories or takes you back to your childhood. When I was about 10 years old I use to stay at my great grandmothers place on the week ends. She had a collection of the most gorgeous rhinestone jewelry. When she got all decked out in her sparkles and loose face powder, rouge and lipstick, it would take my breath away. I think it was then that I fell in love with sparkly rhinestones and that era of jewelry. So many colors! It was better than a rainbow!
Back to reality....I started creating my own design jewelry pieces 3 years ago. Wonderful Swarovski crystals, fresh water cultured pearls, silver or gold plated findings, lampglass, the very finest glass beads as well as gem stones are used in my artisan jewelry.
I'm a retired business owner/operator and loving every minute of it. On Ruby Lane I can run my business in my pajamas. Nothing like it!!
I belong to my local Central Valley Executives Association (Secretary), SPCA of the United States, my local SPCA, Best Friends and of course, The Red Hat Society.
