Vintage Czech Art Deco Red Marble Bohemian Glass Necklace

Signed Czech 1920s Art Deco Necklace. This tassel necklace is made of old Bohemian marbled red glass. This particular type of glass was made in blue, green, and red and is very uncommon to find in old Czechoslovakian jewelry. These beads were also all hand molded, twisted on the end of a lamp workers rod. If you inspect each bead closely you can see the beads were tooled with the lamp workers finger tips while the glass was cooling. The chain and components are made of brass that was silver gilded, but it now mostly brass from age. The necklace is signed Czechoslovakia on the ring that attaches to a spring ring clasp fastening the piece together. It measures 18 1/2" and the center glass round is a little less than 1" long by 1" in width. This distinctive 1920s Czech necklace is in great condition and a piece that most certainly Czech collectors can appreciate.
