Vintage beaded evening purse, made in Japan, with wonderful floral beaded design and graceful and elegant overall styling. The beads are jet black in several shapes on a steel blue/gray silk ground. The inside is fully lined in steel blue silk satin. All seams are finished and edges are beautifully bound. Purse measures 8-1/2" across widest part and 4-3/4" at highest section near clasp. Condition is excellent with no damage or repair.

Gorgeous knitted silk miser purse in the deepest navy blue (almost black) with silver color metal beading. The beading decoration on both ends of the purse resembles peacock feathers, then there is looped beaded fringe on each end and beading around the center opening. Just beautiful. The purse measures 30" long when laid out flat, end to end. 15" when folded in half as when worn.
