About Us
Indigo Heirlooms is a mission of love in many different ways. As a B&M we are a husband (Ariel) and wife (Carol) team.

We originally sold vintage and antique books with his family (21years ago) and then branched out to antiques. That was 18years ago. We had a store front in Forest Hills, that was loving named the "magic shop" by our customers. We joined the internet community in 1996.

Ariel has was raised in the business. His father was a purveyor of books and His mom owned a vintage shop. Ariel has offered items through some of the most prestige auction houses but supplied tv shows and movies sets with the hottest vintage items.

Carolena is our resident jewelry expert and designer. Her "Shot through the Heart" necklace was featured on a series of 500 Limited Edition Postcards for The Book about Death. An Exhibition at the Emily Harvey Foundation in NYC

The exhibition has since traveled to the Otis College of Art and Design in LA, to The River Mill Art Gallery in New Jersey and to the Mobius Gallery in Boston, MA, MoMA UK as well as becoming part of the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)and the LA County Museum of Art Research Library

Carolena trained at Fashion Institute of Technology Jewelry Program, urban glass and 92ndst Y. Taking the Fashion Institute's Appraisal course.

She has been dealing in vintage jewelry for 22 years before teaming up with Ariel.
