Items offered for sale have been purchased by us from auctions, estate sales, flea markets, antique shows and from private sellers in the US and Europe. Because each item is vintage or antique it is unlikely that it will be "perfect,” any areas of concern will be noted and photographed. In fact, we highlight any defects in our close-up photos.
Although we are by no means vintage jewelry experts, because we have at least 25 years of experience buying and selling it, we have become pretty knowledgeable about the topic. We make every effort to ensure our descriptions are accurate and flaws are pointed out. Weights and measurements are as accurate as we can make them. About UsAbout Us: We are new to Ruby Lane but at Huckleberry Hill in Seattle we have been buying and selling high quality antiques and collectibles for the past 25 years. We specialize in vintage clothing and vintage jewelry, mostly of platinum, gold, and silver construction. We also sell only the best designed and executed artisan jewelry we can find, usually from local artisans.
We also consider ourselves well-qualified in identifying and finding original fine paintings, rare vintage photographs and postcards, high quality porcelain, and high-end antique and vintage dolls. All of our items are stored in a temperature controlled, smoke-free environment. We have sold thousands of items to buyers in the US and around the world; we are experienced sellers that you can trust. We have 100 percent feedback on two other online selling venue where we have been listing items since 1998.
Terms of Sale: We respond to inquiries and orders usually within 24-36 hours. All of our items are guaranteed to be as described and photographed. We attempt to make photographs very revealing, and any defects shown in photos match defects mentioned in the description. If you would like more information or more photos, just ask and we will make every effort to accommodate you. We will relist the item if payment is not received within three days of sale.
We do our best to accurately represent condition, age, and artist based on our best judgment. We are by no means professional art or antique experts like on Antiques Roadshow. So buyers should take this into consideration in making purchases.
Return Policy : Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. If you want to return an item for any reason, contact us within three days of item's delivery. (See Ruby Lane Return Policy.) As long as you have not damaged the item, you can return it at only the cost of the return shipment.
Restocking Fee: We charge a 10 percent restocking fee for returned items.
