We stay happy by making you happy.
You are invited into a world where every antique tells a story. We strive to buy antiques that will bring a smile to your lips or a pang of poignancy to your heart.
My husband Bob and I have been studying and collecting antiques for over 40 years. For about 30 years, we've been dealers. We enjoy working with both experienced and beginning collectors, fellow dealers, exhibitors and museums. And just as much, we enjoy working closely with individuals who are not collectors themselves, but are looking for a unique gift for that special someone.
Every antique we offer was hand-picked for its quality and rarity. Our special loves are early fine jewelry (especially sentimental jewelry), country Americana furniture and furnishings, art, textiles period fashion. Having said all that, I admit that you never know what we’ll find that strikes our fancies. We’re adding to our stock almost daily, so please check back often.
For over a decade, I’ve been consultant to museum owner Michael Meyer who has built a world-class collection of carved mother of pearl. Together, we've written Mother of Pearl Antiques and Collectibles, published by Schiffer Publishers. This is a big, beautiful book telling the story behind the art. You’ll love the treasure trove of pictures in this unequaled collection. The book is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble online.
As active members of the Vermont Antiques Dealers Association (VADA), the New Hampshire antiques Dealers Association (NHADA) and the Costume Society of America (CSA), we do distinguished antiques shows during the summers. In addition to that, we have a great time maintaining our own online site.
*** Please note, we live in rural upstate NY and our internet hook-up is via satellite. With Mother Nature's temperamental ways through all seasons, we sometimes lose power. If you do not hear from us, don't fret! We've simply lost our internet access and/ or our electricity. We're still here and will be back in touch asap. We promise! ***
