Gypsy Jewels is a "Platinum" rated shop with over 1,000 successful sales. I guarantee I'll do everything I can for your satisfaction and you will receive excellent customer service from Gypsy Jewels. My return policy is very liberal and you may return a piece within the stated time frame, no questions asked.
It makes my day when my customers receive their package of Gypsy Jewels and they love them as much as I do. Gypsy Jewels are each designed and meticulously handcrafted by me to create unusual art-wear at affordable prices. Most Gypsy Jewels are "one-of-a-kind." I use gemstones, cultured pearls, handmade glass, Sterling Silver, and many other kinds of beads and fine components.
Whenever possible, I incorporate artisan handmade beads and materials created under environmentally friendly conditions and International Fair Trade Agreements. You might also notice re-purposed unusual vintage components in some of my designs.
Many necklaces and bracelets can be made shorter or longer (at no charge) and most earring wires can be changed to posts or clips.
I realize that buying jewelry on line is a different kind of experience. Please be assured, I work hard to provide accurate descriptions and good photos of each Gypsy Jewel. If you have questions before or after purchasing, I welcome your inquiry, so please contact me.
A few things about me
Arts and crafts of one sort or another have been important to me for most of my life. It started with making necklaces and bracelets from the thread spools and twine my grandma gave me to keep me a busy little girl on rainy days. I was as proud of those early efforts as I am of my Gypsy Jewels now.
My education helped me to fulfill my dream of having a management career in public sector human resources. When my son was a toddler, I had a part-time job in a family owned jewelry/gift shop. It never occurred to me that working there would help me when I started my own little business years later. Doing jewelry repairs educated me about quality. I learned how make and keep good will with the store's customers, and most important, I was taught that good service always comes first. About 9 or 10 years ago, I started making my own jewelry for relaxation. To my surprise, people wanted to buy it.
I tried a few other venues to sell my jewelry but when I discovered Ruby Lane, I knew this was the place for me. Seven years later, I'm still here. I spend at least a few hours most every day planning or creating beautiful things. It gives me a great deal of satisfaction and happiness when my customers love their Gypsy Jewels as much as I love making them.
It started with a gift of spools and twine to a bored little girl...Isn't it a wonder how things come full circle when you least expect it.

NOTE: While many gemstones used in my jewelry are natural, it is common for Fresh Water Pearls and some semi-precious Stones to be heated, stabilized or color enhanced to compliment their natural beauty.
Key:
s - Stabilized, usually with a resin
d - Dyed
ce - Color enhanced
Gold Vermeil - Sterling Silver usually with 22k gold overlay
Gold Filled - a thick coating of gold over other metal
Sterling Silver - .925 or greater pure silver
Thai Silver - 97 to 99 % pure silver
t - Tinted
Bracelet Sizes:
Small: 7inches to 71/2 inches
Medium : 7 1/2 inches to 8 inches
Larger: 8 1/2 inches to 9inches
For snug fit, use the smaller number, for looser fit or larger bead sizes, use the larger number. Generally, you will want the bracelet size to be 1/4 to 1/2 inch larger than your wrist unless the beads are quite large (then add 1/2 to 1 inch additional length to get the best size).
