About Guns and Roses Antiques
Our Service Pledge To You:
We respond to all orders within 24 hours and guarantee the authenticity of our items.
Pat and Orton Begner are both retired educators who opened Guns and Roses Antiques in 2000. The name of the business reflects the dichotomy between the items sold by each of the partners. Orton specializes in the militaria and Pat focuses on the other homier more feminine collectibles. Merchandise has been sold primarily at antique and collectible shows and at Uncle Sam's Antiques in Antique World, Clarence, NY near Buffalo. Items typically in inventory include pottery by Shawnee, Hall and McCoy, vintage linens, Depression glass, sheet music, kitchen and bath collectibles, military images, homefront collectibles, military uniforms and field gear. Both sellers take pride in being knowledgeable about the items offered for sale. Orton has been a collector and seller of military antiques and collectibles for most of his life. Although he currently specializes in World War I militaria, he is knowledgeable about most American military items. He is a Civil War reenactor, member of the Western Front Association and the Doughboy Society. He has published in the Doughboy magazine, Military Images magazine and in The Company of Military Historians Journal. Pat has more recently become interested in antiques and collectibles. She loves finding and researching items for sale and has gained good knowledge about dating and restoring vintage linens. We look forward to joining the Ruby Lane family and to sharing our merchandise with world-wide buyers.
