Welcome To Grizzly-Wolf's 1940 to 1970 Fire-King Shop!

My parents were antique dealer's 20 years prior to my birth in Kansas. They purchased estate's and I helped them find many lost treasure's. Once I found a beautiful carnival glass punch bowl with the matching cups hidden under an old iron bed in a dilapidated cardboard box. What a delight it was showing it to my parents! Those were the good old days!

I started selling my collectibles and antiques I had accumulated over the years around 1980 at flea markets and antique shows around the Midwest. Since 2002 I have been selling only on the internet and just recently here on Ruby Lane.

For the last 6 years I have sold nothing but rare collectible vintage Anchor Hocking Fire-King - FireKing exclusively.

The following are some of the different colors produced by Anchor Hocking that I sell online. Jadeite - jadite - jade-ite, turquoise blue, azurite, white, ivory, sapphire blue and fired-on colors in the restaurant ware and dinner ware lines. Many of my pieces that I sell are the very rare and very hard to find items that would fit right in with your collection.

I have shipped many many pieces of Fire-King worldwide with great success in what my customer's were expecting to receive and without any damage or loss in transit. I use recycled shipping materials. All items are double wrapped in 3/16" bubble wrap and packing peanuts. On some occasions for some of the rarer pieces they will be double boxed.

*- My Information On Fire-King Manufacturing Flaws -*

Fire-King glassware at its best was an imperfect glassware sold and given as premiums during the great depression era.

Most if not all of the pieces I have sold had some of the following factory manufacturing flaws: straw - ash - mold marks, stress cracks, minor roughness around mold lines, pin hole sized burst bubbles, dark specks found under the glaze, ripples, waviness, sagging, drooping and variations plus striations in the different colors produced during that time.

The above does not take away from the rarity, beauty or collectibility of this very hard to find glassware. It is getting harder and harder to find the rarer pieces in near mint to mint condition that I am offering here on Ruby Lane.

If you do not know or understand what I am talking about above, then please take the time to email me before you make an offer or purchase any of my listings, with your questions. I will do my best to answer any and all questions.

If I make a mistake, which does occur, but not often, I must be contacted within 3 days after you receive the item(s). I charge a 10% restocking fee on all item(s) returned.

All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the U.S.A. buyer or International buyer. Item(s) must be returned exactly as I shipped them, in the original packing materials, the original box if possible and use the same postage shipping option that was used when I shipped the item(s) to you. You must also insure the item(s) for the final purchase price. If the returned item(s) are broken, or not in the same condition as sent due to you packing the item(s) incorrectly, I will not be held liable. Insurance will also cover lost returns. Items must be shipped within 3 days of notifying me.

I will NOT be held responsible for lost or damaged commodities if you choose to use First Class shipping.

Multiple items will be combined to save on shipping costs whenever possible. Shipping costs are based on the actual weight of the item packaged. Recycled packing materials and boxes are used, if this bothers you, please do not make a purchase. I package items with bubble wrap and packing peanuts so there is absolutely no movement in the box.
