About Me
I live in one of the most scenic spots in Alaska, the city of Homer, nestled bay side with looming mountain, glaciers, and volcanoes in view. My doll collecting and selling interests have spanned 30 plus years. I've traveled extensively, finding dolls in the flea markets of London and Paris and other cities around the world. Currently my passion is with French Fashion dolls. their clothing and accessories, but I will offer quality dolls of all types. I feel that original wigs and clothing can dramatically add to the value of a doll, and certainly accessories and other related antique items give us deeper viewing pleasure in the cabinet--so I will offer these items as I can find them. Over the years I've participated in many national doll shows, conventions and workshops where I have gained hands-on experience with antique dolls. I've researched the history and makers of dolls. I'm a member of NADDA and UFDC and have served as President of a local doll club.

About Fireweed Gallery
Many people ask me what Fireweed is. Fireweed is the first plant to grow on burned land after forest fires. There are different varieties that grow from several inches to 8 feet tall. Fireweed has wonderfully full magenta blossoms that can be harvested and made into jelly, tea, candies, syrups, and even ice cream. It's stalks can be peeled and roasted. With a citrus tang, it's inner pulp can quench the thirst of hikers. Young shoots collected in spring can be mixed with other greens. Honey is made from Fireweed nectar. Fireweed is a perennial herbaceous plant in the willow herb family Onagraceae and is native throughout the temperate Northern Hemisphere. It is tenacious, a symbol of rebirth and hope. Fireweed Gallery is located downtown in scenic Homer, Alaska.
