About Us
Welcome to FARAWAY ANTIQUE SHOP ON RUBY LANE,located in the shadow of Mt Katahdin, in the great state of Maine. I would like to introduce myself as your shopkeeper, Sandra Fayle. I have been selling on Ruby lane, off and on, since 2002, and I also have a sister site on the web, Faraway Antique Shop. For several years I shared a shop on Ruby Lane with my sister, Nancy DeWitt of Two Sisters Antiques.

DOLLS: I am pleased to offer you a selection of fine antique dolls that have been carefully chosen as excellent examples of their type. I have been selling dolls since 1996, and my dolls are unconditionally guaranteed.

JEWELRY: I love all things antique, and antique jewelry is one of my passions. I also enjoy handcrafting my own chains, using rings and links that are hand-crafted and hand-cut by me. It is labor intensive and time consuming, but I find it very relaxing.

When not selling dolls, I am a Graduate Gemologist and Accredited Jewelry Professional. I am also a member of a professional jewelry appraisal association, The National Association of Jewelry Appraisers.

I am a retired Postmaster, and my husband, Jeff, is a Registered Maine Guide. We spend as much time as possible at Chesuncook Lake, located deep in the heart of the North Maine Woods. We enjoy many outdoor activities including snowmobiling, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and hiking. We share these outdoor activities with our English Springer Spaniels, who are our best friends.
