About Us
Falls Avenue specializes in vintage dresses and menswear, costume jewelry, vintage wedding veils and bridal headpieces, vintage handbags and hats, 1930s to 1970s lingerie, men's dressing robes and loungewear.

Simply put, I live in the past. My home was built in 1909, my decor is a blend of Art Deco with a touch of Art Nouveau, my television is usually tuned into either Turner Classics or the History Channel and I'm addicted to Mad Men. I love old stuff, especially lingerie. How can any woman possibly go without a feather laden chiffon peignoir or silk pajamas?

As a teen, I spent every Saturday afternoon in a seriously dusty three-story antiques store downtown. It's little wonder I operate a vintage boutique today and now I get to shop for you!

I hope you'll be pleased with my selection. Vintage costume jewelry and clothing can always be had but I also keep an eye out for little treasures like Valentine's cards, wrapping paper, photography and ad wares. I base my purchases on their condition, rarity and overall look. Basically, if it's not something I'd consider buying for myself, it's not something I'd consider selling to you.

Any seller will tell you research is as much a part of the job as are clear photos. I use many resources to determine dating and materials and will not sell items of doubtful authenticity. I don't believe in selling vintage "style" and will clearly display all labels and any issues. I don't carry garments with tampered labels, integrity is of uppermost concern to me. While I'm far from perfect, my promise to you is that I'd never knowingly misrepresent an item.

No stock comes from online sites. Shop inventory comes primarily from private sellers and estate sales within the Niagara region. I prefer my items to be fresh and new to the online marketplace and that most have had a single owner from whom I purchase directly.

Falls Avenue is located in beautiful Niagara Falls, Canada. Being a border city, I have access to fabulous finds from the USA and am able to ship directly with USPS. My customer base is over 95% American (God Bless!) and I've successfully shipped over 1000 packages there and overseas which have arrived safely. All transactions come with a full guarantee and there's never a restocking fee.
