About UsI have collected and sold dolls for over thirty years. Even though I frequently offer quality collectible dolls (1950's and older), I concentrate on dolls from the mid 1800's to early 1900's. My primary goal is to seek and sell quality items of interest to the discriminating doll collector. My shop will contain a variety of antique dolls, porcelain figures, and related items. I occasionally purchase entire estate doll collections and will be able to offer many items at bargain prices. Doll accessories and clothing add dramatically to the value of a doll and we will offer some of these items as well. My expertise comes from having participated in many national doll shows, conventions and workshops where I have gained hands-on experience with antique dolls, and from extensive research. I am a member of the National Antique Doll Dealers Association, having served as President and Vice President and for six years on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. I believe the only way to do business is through having an open relationship with customers and providing honest and accurate descriptions of merchandise.
Please keep in mind that antique dolls, as is true with any antique, are old and should be expected to have signs of aging and handling. You may find a firing line or speck in the bisque which is inherent to the manufacturing. If it is distracting or, in my opinion, lessens the value of the item, I will make that a part of my description. We are very precise in describing collectible dolls and clothing as they are more recent items and many collectors look for "minty" or "excellent condition" in this category.
