My name is Cathy and I am a longtime collector of ephemera, furniture from the 1800's to mid-century modern and of course dolls and related items. I collect Chatty Cathy and family, Schoenhut dolls, Sasha dolls, and other dolls that I take a fancy to. The time has come to downsize and so please check often for new listings of quality dolls and vintage to antique miscellaneous.
The merchandise I sell is either vintage or antique. Many of my offerings are toys and dolls, that have been played with in the past. I do offer some unplayed with examples, or in never removed from box condition, but most have been handled. If you are interested in perfection, please be sure to ask questions on condition, prior to your purchase, as I may miss something of importance to you...even high quality vintage merchandise can show minor signs of being handled in the past. I never call any vintage item mint and price my merchandise according to current market value after careful research. Thank You!

My business partner and dear friend-Debbie -my angel- passed away on December 15, 2011. She fought a brave fight against breast cancer and is truly an inspiration to all who know and love her. She wanted me to thank all her many wonderful Ruby Lane customers. I will continue to run the store in her honor. Deeply Missed-Never Forgotten
Below is how Debbie started her wonderful doll collection.

My passion for vintage dolls (and all things old) started when I fell in love with a 1953 Vogue Ginny doll in a tiny antique shop back in my home town. The year was 1972 and it took me several months of saving my allowance to pay my mom back for this $9.00 treasure!

***Debbie has the most wonderful doll collection as did her Mother before her. I have been asked to help these dolls find new homes. In the coming months please check out the store for many wonderful and exquisite antique dolls, Shirley Temple dolls, Barbie, Ginny and many other dolls, antique doll clothing and so much more. Most of her dolls are all original. It is very important to me that these dolls find homes with doll collectors that will treasure them as much as Debbie and her Mother did...I will be doing this out of love for my dear friend and the utmost respect to her final wish that her dolls find lovely new homes. I was so very blessed to know Debbie and will cherish her always. These dolls will start being offered for sale now and for many, many, many months.*** Carpe Diem
