A beautiful and detailed original oil on canvas portrait of White Shield S. Cheyenne American Indian by Joe Ruiz Grandee. This original painting was painted by Joe Grandee in 1970 and bears his signature and mark. It measures 9 x 12. I have had it cleaned and it looks wonderful.

Joe Grandee was born in Dallas Texas in 1929. He is noted for his historically accurate depiction of the Dragoons and Cavalry men of the US Army. He served for one year as the "Official State Artist of Texas".
