About Us
My name is Chip Barkel. I began collecting and selling dolls in 1976. I am an active member of the United Federation of Doll Clubs, a former member of the Valley Forge Doll Club of Pennsylvania and a founding member of the Delaware Valley Doll Club of New Jersey.

I co-edited, with A. Glenn Mandeville, the first two Madame Alexander price guides that accompanied Madame Alexander Collectors Dolls by Patricia R. Smith. Many dolls in my collection have appeared in Pat Smith's books, and I have authored doll-related articles in various periodicals, like Doll Reader. I am also a regular advertiser in Antique Doll Collector magazine.
