This is an old Rope Swing that hung from a tree on a farm. It is made of approx. ¾ inch diameter iron bar that a blacksmith bent the ends on so to have loops to attach the rope. It measures 23 ½ inches long. The old rope is over 8 feet long and braided around the loops. It has some fraying. The older farmer I purchased it from stated it was an antique from the turn of the century. It is used with wear in good condition for collecting or display. It does not look comfortable.
