Dating to c1929, a box of Avon La Romance Perfume Incense in the June Rose fragrance. The Box contains 2 Incense sticks. The box has a gold foil card insert with a shield shape cut-out, which I assume held some kind of incense holder - whatever it was, it is no longer there. The brightly illustrated box measures just under 4 inches by 2 3/4 inches, and measures 5/8 inch deep. Elegance by Avon was first launched in 1956 and is now discontinued. This enameled metal Perfume Atomizer Spray for the Purse is still in the original box, and I believe it has never been used - except when I just tried it out! There was air in the tube when I first depressed the top, and shaking the container, it seems to be pretty full.
