About Us
We have been in business since 1982. Tim has been restoring antiques since we began, and when I am not running the antique shop or getting things ready to go on Ruby Lane, I also help out. Our shop started as a labor of love, and it still is to this day. Many hours have been spent restoring the old building that now serves as our brick and mortar antique shop. Our building was originally built in the late 1800's and was always a hardware store from the time it was first opened. On sunny days, the shop is full of light and warmth from the large front windows that we use for display. The hard rock maple floors are the same ones that were installed when the building was constructed, and they do their part to add to the warmth.

About our furniture: Some of our furniture items have been professionally restored in our own workshops. After all these years, I consider my husband Tim to be an expert when it comes to restoring a piece to the way it looked when it was made. Whenever we can, we always leave original finishes undisturbed. As you may realize, antique furniture can be expected to show signs of normal wear after many years of use. We try to give a detailed description with lots of pictures to help you in your decision. If you would like to talk with one of us about a particular piece, please feel free to call us.Our customer's comments are always complimentary, and we sincerely appreciate those comments.

Our antique shop and restoration workshop are both located in Northwestern Ohio, about 40 miles south of Toledo, about 15 minutes from the city of Findlay. There are lots of excellent restaurants and places to stay in Findlay. Our business hours are Saturday 10 -4 and Sunday 12 -4. The shop is closed on Holidays and when the snow gets too deep to drive through. We have actually met quite a few of our Ruby Lane customers in person when they have come to pick up furniture. If you are in the area, please stop by. We have much more inventory in our shop and there are other shops nearby.
