These are hands down the finest costume dress clips I have had the pleasure of owning, I find them difficult to part with. Although unsigned the materials and construction are unmistakably Czechoslovakian in origin. Beautifully aged gilt brass metal set in bezels with tiny saw teeth, vibrant jewel tones. What an exciting find these beautiful circa 1930 dress clips are. Urn shape dress clips of pot metal pavé set with clear paste rhinestones. Each clip bears its original gold foil tag, which reads "Nemo Gold Sealed Quality LN/25" "Stones Hand Set". The card is yellowed with age and says "Feather-weight, Nemo, Twin Clips". Circa 1930's matching pair of plated pot metal dress clips set with clear paste rhinestones. An exceptional pair of dress clips, due not only to their size but shape. Each measures 1 7/8" across by 1 1/2" in width. The set is in excellent condition, the square stones are nice and bright, a few of the rounds have mellowed slightly, nothing to detract. The clips operate perfectly, plating also excellent. One clip is marked with the number 4, the other the number 7.
