Unique vintage Asprey marked silver plate & pewter 28" buffet server. Asprey of London, maker's to the queen and akin to Tiffany in both quality and reputation. Without spending too much time in researching, we'd estimate that the piece dates from 1900-1940 or so. The center is basically cylindrical in shape, with the lower half in pewter and can keep foods warm & moist if filled with boiling water.
