About Us
My love for antique dolls and toys began over 30 years ago and I have been an avid collector ever since. All dolls fascinate me whether they are French Bebe's, German characters, early china's, parians, papier mache's, woodens, early cloth dolls, French fashion ladies, wax dolls and all-bisques.

I find myself totally enthralled with each dolls uniqueness, beauty, originality, and history. I catch myself wondering about the children who once loved, cherished and protected these charming "treasures from the past". And although I love all dolls, my favorites are the delicate and charming French Poupees with their elegant original clothing, wonderful trunks, and exquisite tiny accessories! The accessories are as fascinating to me as the dolls! Wouldn't it be wonderful if, for just a day, we could stroll down the myriad of Paris toy shops during the height of doll and toy manufacture of the mid 1860's to 1880's? Oh, what a dream that would be!

My mentor, when I first started collecting, was a dear friend who is now 88 years young, and started doll collecting when she was only 12! Her collection was, and still is. . .FANTASTIC! Almost every doll all-original! She taught me to always buy the "best that I could afford" and "what I loved". She taught me so much and brought the love of dolls into my life! The enjoyment that collecting has given me through the years is immeasurable!

I have been a member of UFDC since 1981 and have had the pleasure of attending many of their Conventions, where one is able to see many fascinating dolls and meet the most wonderful people!
