Primitive McCoy Oven-Proof brown ware. It is as functional today as it was over half a century ago when it was first introduced by McCoy Pottery.
This set would have been used for preparing casseroles by our great grandparents, or the bowl could have been used as a mixing bowl all on it’s own. Either was you want to use these, they will make a great addition to your McCoy Collection.
There are typical McCoy pre-firing areas that are missing small amount of glaze.
Simply lines add decoration to this solid pottery of the early 1930' & 40's. Bottom of the medium bowls read Oven Proof & USA with #652. The others are simply marked McCoy with USA.
There are 2 large serving bowls-each 10" wide by 3.5" deep, (#654), 1 medium size bowl, 8" wide x 3.5" deep, (#652) and a small cereal type bowl, for a total of 4 bowls.
What a great way to start a collection or simply add to an existing one, at a reasonable price.
