Question Title What do I need to know before listing a jewelry item described as Silver?
Only jewelry items of Sterling standard or higher may be listed under the 'Silver, Sterling' category of the Jewelry Lane. Jewelry items described or represented as sterling silver, 'solid silver' or 'silver' without additional qualifiers, must be at least 925/1000ths pure silver (92.5%). Items listed in the Antique and Vintage Jewelry sub-categories must have any marks indicating the purity level of the material clearly illustrated in the item listing. If a jewelry item does not have any quality marks, it must be tested and a summary of the test results must be included in the item listing. The purity level of the material must be revealed in the titles and description.
