This is an antique wine caddy most likely Staffordshire and is from the mid to late 19th century. It is unmarked and in very good condition for its age. It is a double caddy for 2 bottles of wine and the wheels roll, there is some missing plate in areas and some old polish still embedded in areas. Wear to wood wine holders and the bone handle is loose and needs to be re-plastered as these were usually held in place with plaster. It is about 19.5" long about 7.75" wide and about 5" tall maybe a tad taller at the handle. No obvious dents, needs a proper polishing. This was from the estate of Helen Alvarez Smith in La Jolla CA. She was a major collector for many decades and was an owner of the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim CA.
